MEMCAL PROGRAMMING
Shown below is a P/N 16156450 ECM from a 92 Quad 4 powered car. The cover has been removed showing the two clips that hold the MEMCAL in place.
After 2
years of research and a lot of trial and error we have the hardware and software
to duplicate the Race-Tek chip required for racing in the Quad 4 Midget class
and the new N.E.M.A Lite pavement series starting in 2008.
Each chip is erased, tested, then programmed, tested again and finally test run
in our car to ensure that the chip will work right out of the box. Each chip has
a serial number that can be traced to the date it was programmed.
If you would like to purchase a chip the cost is $50 plus a refundable $25.00
core charge on receipt of a good useable chip plus shipping.
Once you have purchased a chip from us we are available for Tech Support. The
chips are delicate pieces of electronic equipment but at the same time are
fairly difficult to damage. Should you believe that your car will not run or
does not run properly due to some damage to the chip you are always able to
return it for testing at no cost other than shipping. Should we determine that
the programming on the chip has been damaged for some reason we will
reprogram the chip for $25.00. In some extreme cases the chip can be damaged by
an electrical shock to the computer that will permanently damage the chip so
that it can no longer be programmed, in that case you will have to start over
again with a new chip and a core.
NOTE: In order to maintain a good reputation and
to compete in the same classes as the teams we are selling chips to, WE WILL NOT
CHANGE ENGINE PARAMETERS SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
